I love this series and the third book actually deserves 5 stars if not for some issues I had with the ending.

Clockwork Princess

I'm sorry for putting this up quite late. I'm totally swamped with work and family that I haven't even written a review of the book but it is without a doubt my favourite book for March. The Infernal Devices is certainly a better series in my opinion compared to The Mortal Instruments just because Will is a much more likeable hero compared to Jace. And JEM! I'm so obsessed with him.

Mind Games

My review

Mind Games is simply mind boggling! In a month filled with so many highly anticipated second book in a series, Kiersten White's new book just totally blew away the competition. Its dark potrayal of the evil side of humanity is a stark contrast to Ms. White's earlier humorous debut; the Paranormalcy series. I'm hoping that one day, Hollywood will turn this into a thriller with Saoirse Ronan as Fia; the tortured evil sister.

The Across the Universe series goes off with a bang! I practically hated the first book and didn't even read the second. But the third just take my breath away!This is how sci-fi supposed to be.

Epic fantasy is without a doubt my favourite genre right now. And I love how intriguing this book is. This is a worthy book to be compared to the famous A Song of Fire and Ice series or Game of Thrones.

Days of Blood and Starlight

This is a no brainer. Days of Blood and Starlight is certainly hands down the best book of the month or even the year. How can a book makes you laugh and cry at the same time? This is an excellent example of the tragic story of star crossed lovers. What are you waiting for? Go and get it!

The Lost Prince (The Iron Fey #1)

My review

I did not expect to be so blown away by the book. And I did! Julie Kagawa certainly has a gift in creating a magical world filled with interesting and colourful characters. And the fact that it has not one but two swoon worthy heroes to root for just an added bonus. Definitely worth checking out.

I am glad that I give Carnival of Souls a try. I did not particularly enjoyed The Wicked Lovely series but Carnival of Souls is just brilliant!

Princess Academy: Palace of Stone

There's just something lovable about the characters that Shannon Hale created that makes you want to root for them. Miri is a wonderful fictional role model that every young girl should aspire to be. I hope in the future my children will cherish books by Shannon Hale as much as I do.

Team Human

Since my copy of Endlessly by Kiersten White has not yet arrived (sigh) which I'm so sure will be one of my favourite this year, Team Human is my pick for the best that I've read this month. If you're looking for a book that makes fun of vampires then this is definitely for you.

As a fan of epic/high fantasy, I fell in love completely with the awesome fantasy world of Shadow and Bone. I just love love love it so much!

So many great books are published on May and I know everyone is either buzzing about Insurgent or the latest instalment of The Mortal Instruments series but I think it's about time that a stand alone book receives some due attention. Besides I'm a huge fan of fairy tale stories.

So many great books are published on April but this one really take the cake for me. Seriously, good! You know how much I love kick ass chicks and Maya certainly does not disappoint.
